Doing the Happy Dance: I finished Yet Another Cotton Top!
And I have added a row of holes and a three-row rib to the bottom of the last cotton top.
It feels much better now.
So, what am I going to do next? Well, I really need to get on with the fair isle I am designing in the hope of selling it to a magazine. But I am stuck choosing a smaller pattern to alternate with the main one. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen. In the meantime, I think I have begun Yet Another Cotton Top. This is Cleckheaton Remo, a slubby mixture of rayon, acrylic and cotton which has the look and feel of raw silk.
I have yarn for at least two more: some very yummy colours of Jo Sharp cotton - enough to make a longer-sleeved top for 'tween seasons, and some blue denim cotton (not Rowan, a cheaper copy) to make a vest.
And there's always the Fish Wall Hanging. Naw, too hot to even think about that blanket on my lap!
