I've just seen Kris, with her cute little pink pigtails, on the live video feed. That was pretty sexy! There are a huge number of people there. Maybe next year I will go and help them sew up some of the squares. Oddly though, with all those knitters, there aren't very many handknitted garments on view. It is pretty amazing to see so many people (well, women and girls) sitting around knitting and sewing up squares.
Having a day off to work on the bamboo - Peter's coming over to lend a hand. Pics later. I don't think I've been very clear about the bamboo - poisoning etc isn't an option. I have been poisioning it for two years to no effect. It has to go now - I want the garden space. So it has to be pulled out by hand. The only decision is how much we can do and if/when I will need to pay someone finish the job.
Heehee! I'm glad I could sex it up for you! I thought about bringing some handknits to wear as well, but in the end I was glad I didn't. It was INCREDIBLY hot under the lights in the studio. Other than some socks, most people seemed to be shedding their knitted items as soon as they arrived.
There were some men there as well! I saw at least three. :)
