WWKIP day - the report
Twenty-seven brave souls came to the Sydney Opera House at the tail end of a really bad storm - it was miserable weather for Sydney. We had passing showers and it wasn't warm, although the wind had died down so it wasn't unbearable. We had great fun. Jen has listed everyone who was there, and published some photos, and David's next podcast will include interviews with yours truly and Kris. There were lots of new friends to chat to, and some people had come long distances: Michelle had come from Bathhurst, and there I talked to people from Bankstown, Janelli and Riverstone. Another woman had come from Tasmania - not just for the knit-in but we were impressed anyway!

We had fun, too. Lots of rain so we were inside, but it didn't dampen our spirits at all!

It was a great gathering, especially considering the nasty weather. Just imagine the numbers we could get on a fine sunny day! I liked seeing your lovely stripey top and I forgot to ask Sandra about the progress on her Nantucket Jacket.
