Of course I'm still knitting, and I have several very large projects on the go, about which there is really very little to say, except that they are growing.
One is a lace-weight linen cardigan on 2.75mm needles (yes, what was I thinking?), blogged here, that is now about 60% done. Doesn't it look weird? It's an unusual and very interesting way to knit the body in one piece, with a horizontal seam on the bustline. And I still have the sleeves to tackle.
The other, which I haven't yet blogged, is a very light laceweight wool cardigan on 3.5mm needles (less tedious but still a very big project, as it has some complex tucks on the fronts) is about 50% done. When it is done it will look something like this. And I still have the sleeves to tackle.
Undeterred by the thought of not one but two pairs of sleeves in my knitting future, I am also thinking about casting on a drapey cardigan called Mythos on nice fat 5mm needles, using three different coloured balls of merino slimsock from Daphne, the much-missed dyer from The Knittery. Click to see how beautiful the colours look in this tension square. The pattern recommends that you knit the sleeves first.
One day I will have lots of light-weight cardigans. In the meantime I have lots of fairly mindless knitting. With sleeves.

I'm finally knitting again, after a very stressful few months getting our move back to NZ organised. But we're here, 'though still in transit, so my knitting has resurfaced. Just a jersey for my youngest, but after that, I might get around to knitting something for myself. As usual, when I am knitting, I am already starting to plan what I might knit yet, and I'm having to resist the temptation to rush off to the local yarn shop straight away.

I can see Mythos on you - good choice!
