I submitted my thesis for examination on 17 April. Now I just have to wait for the examienrs' reports to come in. I hope it doesn't take not too long... and, of course, I hope they don't think I need to do too much more to the document.
In the meantime I have submitted a chapter on the experience of being supervised for a book that's to be published next year, and I am preparing a presentation for the HERDSA conference in July - on living in liminal space!
Other than that I just get on with my job and wonder how it will feel to call myself doctor. And I do worry about my thesis, out there in the world without me. We've been together for 7.5 years, and sometime I miss it.
