This morning we went to the Broadway shopping centre where I tried out one of their 'power shoppers'. I think I'd need some practice to live up to that description, but I'm willing to keep practising. It was an interesting experience - one woman looked right at me, then stepped forward into my path and stopped. I just kept going, slowly, until she, noticing I wasn't going to go round her, squeaked and jumped aside. I didn't apologise, but then nor did she.
We found a newish Vogue Knitting (Winter2006/7), and Sandra got out of the car in the 38C deg heat and voted on the way home, and now the blessed rain is coming in, so that's us sorted for the rest of the afternoon. Such exciting lives we lead.
I didn't see you there! And I WAS there.
It constantly amazes me how people just don't seem to see other people, whether they are in a wheelchair or power shopper or on two feet. They park their trolleys right in the middle of the aisle, or walk into you. Solipsism, I think it is called. Nobody else exists but ME ME ME!

Oh now that would have been a sight :)
I'm always amazed at who walks directly in front of a moving stroller as well...

Does it come turbo charged?

We usually go there in the morning, but this Saturday we did an afternoon shop. No doubt I would have walked right past you anyway -- hopefully not right in front of you.
